Translations for the masses
Good news everyone!
The February issue of Galette just came out, but what really matters to us is the preview of the June issue, which shows that Liberty will finally come back after an almost three years long hiatus!
Something tells me it won’t be the last chapter, since that would mean the 3rd volume would be just four chapters long, so I believe the adventures of Liz and Maki will last for at least three more chapters. But this is just my theory, so take it with a pinch of salt.

The first manga is about a workaholic woman who has the good (or bad?) idea of following her kouhai’s advice.
The second manga, despite the title, is very short: it’s about finding out the consequences of not listening to your elders.

G’day mate, how ya goin’?
It’s been a while since I’ve written (or released) anything here. I’ve been busy with my Australian life and I had no time for scanlations, which makes me a bit sad. That said, I want to update you on your favourite yuri manga that’s been on hiatus for well over two years: Liberty.
In April of this year, Momomo Moto announced on Twitter that Liberty will definitely be completed, but, due to her busy schedule, it’ll probably happen in 2025. Why such a long hiatus? Well, maybe it has something to do with the fact that Kitta Izumi gave birth to a healthy baby girl on November 1st. Congratulations to her and her husband!
Hopefully 2025 will give us both Liberty and Goodbye, Daisy and… I think Pandacorya is working on something new. I don’t know where I’ll be or what exactly I’m gonna do next year, but I hope it’ll be a good year for both yuri and Yuri (that’s me).

Their chemistry, stories, characters and aesthetics really stole my heart. In a world devastated by conflict, they try to bring a little bit of romanticism, for example, by stealing a fish just to dump it in the lake where it came from to make it reunite with its friends. The “grand notice” of the title refers to the fact they always leave a notice card to announce what they’re going to steal…They’re phantom thieves, after all.

Continue reading “The Magnificent Kotobuki Take Off Girls Team Songs: Canary Vigilante – Kotori’s March”According to the story, the mysterious Yufang came into Kotobuki’s world (called Ijitsu) through portals in the sky and brought with them their technology which they shared with the inhabitants of Ijitsu, living in a post-apocalyptic world without oceans. Apparently, one of the things they brought with them is American style Mafia: gangsters wearing pinstripe suits dealing in all sort of sordid business: alcohol trafficking, gambling, usury and…rock salt, according to the Harukaze specials. One of the playable squadrons in Kotobuki TOG is indeed a Mafia family: the Gekitetsu (“Firing hammer”) Family, my 2nd favourite squadron. Two of their members appear in the Harukaze specials and in one of the closing stills of the movie. This is clearly not enough because Gekitetsu had the most interesting story in the game and their interactions were both funny and interesting. Let’s turn to their team song now…
